Korea has outbid five other countries including China and India to win the right to host the second Asia-Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT) next February. An educational, non-profit event which aims to develop and maintain internet operational stability in the Asia-Pacific region, APRICOT 2000 will host more than 1,000 internet executives from the region. There will be a series of seminars, workshops, tutorials, conference sessions and forums. Regional internet organizations such as the Asia and Pacific Internet Associations, Asia-Pacific Networking Group, Asia-Pacific Network Information Center, Asia-Pacific Top Level Domain Forum will also have meetings at conference.
