Kony today announced its new mobile app marketplace, which will help enterprises create and adopt mobile apps.
The enterprise mobility company will offer "ready to run" apps, reusable components and design templates through the platform. Kony Marketplace will feature solutions built both by Kony itself and its partners, which include Broadstrokes Factual, InfoStretch and Knack.
Among the solutions offered in the app marketplace is Kony Sales, a mobile productivity extension app for SAP and Salesforce. Also available is Kony Modeler, a visual composition toolset which allows enterprises to build mobile-first apps from reusable app models available in Kony Marketplace.
"Industry experts are predicting that the demand for mobile apps will dramatically increase for enterprise organisations in the next few years," said Burley Kawasaki, senior vice president, products, Kony, Inc.
He added: "To meet this demand, enterprises are looking for ways to empower their businesses to rapidly deliver secure, enterprise-level mobile apps with great user experiences. Our goal is to provide a rich collection of pre-built apps and app models through the Kony Marketplace, which they can use to quickly build their mobile apps."
