Kokusai Denshin Denwa Co’s results for the January to March quarter show earnings from international calls up by 10.9% over the previous quarter to almost $2,000m, with operating profit up by 29.3% to $281m and demand for all the phone company’s services apart from telex and telegrams showing an increase.
