KOKUSAI DENSHIN DENWA ANNOUNCES REGISTRATION FOR INTERNATIONAL DIRECT DIALLING TO GO NEXT MONTH

By CBR Staff Writer

Underlining that not everything is wonderful in Japan, Kokusai Denshin Denwa has announced that from next month, subscribers no longer have to register to get international direct dialling through NTT exchanges; direct dialling is cheaper than operator-assisted calls, and accounts for 90% of traffic, but the application for registration for direct service takes 10 days for processing.
