Eastman Kodak Co of Rochester, New York has been touting its super-high capacity 5.25 floppy disk drives for a couple of years now, but while the 3.3Mb and 6.6Mb versions are available, the top-end 12Mb drive has not seen the light of day as a volume product. Kodak has now however signed a technology exchange agreement on the drive with Data Technology Corp, based in Santa Clara, California under which it will become Kodak’s preferred supplier of the capacious floppies.
