Knight Equity is replacing its SunGard Brass system with version 4.2 of the Fidessa platform that supports fully integrated market-data, news, fundamentals and charts. The system will also be linked to the company’s GFTPS back office system.
In addition, Knight Equity hopes to utilize Fidessa’s global connectivity network to gain member trading access to major European exchanges and non-member direct market access (DMA) trading through Credit Agricole Cheuvreux on other European markets.
The trading platform will handle incoming electronic order flow from institutional and retail clients, and allows Knight Equity to offer its own DMA trading facility in London to its non-member clients.
