KMW Systems International Ltd, Feltham, Middlesex has added to its range of Apple Computer Inc Macintosh networking products with TwinAxcess to enable NuBus-based Macintoshes to be used as terminals to IBM’s mid-range systems. Designed for the high-end Macintosh II range of machines, TwinAxcess is a NuBus board level interface that enables connection via twinaxial cable to IBM AS/400, System/36 and /38 computers and runs the company’s Intalink software to handle the connection. There is a multi-session version of the system that supports up to seven concurrent host sessions. The single session version costs UKP850, the multi-session version is UKP950, and the prices include the Intalink software.
