The contract involves Kingston delivering a total outsourced communications solution, which will include network capacity for voice and Internet calls, directory enquiries, customer care and billing services.

The service will be delivered via Kingston’s growing national network infrastructure with customer care, directory enquiries and billing provided from its Kingston upon Hull headquarters.

Barclaycard’s new service offers its 7.9 million UK customers savings of 30%(*) on local, national and international calls and 10%(*)on calls made to mobile phones.

Customers will now also be able to take advantage of savings of up to 30% (**) on dial-up Internet access through the new Internet service, Barclaycard.net.
