KINETIX HAS HYPERWIRE PROGRAM FOR WEB SITE BUILDING IN JAVA

By CBR Staff Writer

Autodesk Inc subsidiary Kinetix Inc has released a program to build interactive 2D and 3D Web sites in Java, using its flagship 3D Studio Max 3D modeling and animation software. The $250 Hyperwire program, for Windows 95 and Windows NT, creates pages that can play on any Java-enabled browser, and comes with Whip!, a control module that enables designers to connect AutoCAD drawing to 2D interactive controls and VRML worlds, so that AutoCAD drawings on a corporate intranet can be viewed with a standard Web browser.
