Keymail Marketing has selected MeetingZone’s web conferencing system to train and support its customers in the use of its email marketing software products.
Keymail is a reseller of email service provider ExactTarget’s products in the EU. Its products help companies promote new offers, maintain regular communication with customers and generate demand for online and offline channels.
MeetingZone’s web conferencing system Glance enables Keymail to train its customers by sharing the PC screen as well as the applications being run on it live. The browser-based application can be shared by two to 100 participants. Keymail can include its customers into ad hoc web conference calls by simply clicking on a URL.
With Glance, Keymail hopes to reduce its travelling costs as well as its carbon footprint. David Godden, director at Keymail Marketing, said: “Our customers are based throughout Europe and so travelling to each site to provide support and training would be prohibitively time consuming and financially unviable. Not to mention environmentally unsound. We quickly realised the key role an audio and web conferencing solution would play in allowing us to communicate with our potential and existing customers without anyone having to leave their desks.”
Founded in 2002, MeetingZone offers audio and web conferencing services to its customers. It competes with Citrix’s GoToMeeting, Convoq ASAP, Macromedia Breeze, and Microsoft Live in the conferencing sector.
In December last year, business coaching company Success 121 has implemented MeetingZone’s audio conferencing to hold virtual classes to its students. National Grid, too, has been using audio conferencing for its internal and external communication.
