The integration module from Microsoft Great Plains will seamlessly connect Kewill’s multi-carrier shipping system to Dynamics, Solomon and eEnterprise sales order processing module. Customers will benefit from the ability to automate transportation routing and cost calculations for parcel shipments, and create bar coded tracking labels and electronic manifests for multiple carriers.

Additionally, Kewill will develop integration from its JobBoss shop management application to Dynamics, Solomon and eEnterprise business management solutions. This integration will provide customers with a seamless integration to ERP and shop management applications for specialty contract, make-to-order, discrete and mixed-mode manufacturing in the small and medium-size enterprise (SME) market.

Kewill.Ship will be deployed by utilizing Microsoft Great Plains’ extensive reseller network of 2,200 channel partners. An estimated 40,000 customers will have the ability to automate more of their business processes, quickly and efficiently.

In today’s competitive environment, seamless supply chain execution is essential, said Bob Malley, president and CEO of Kewill. By partnering with Microsoft Great Plains we are not only extending our combined market reach and creating new revenue streams, but we are also offering customers real value by bridging the gaps that exist today between finance, transportation, planning and enterprise management systems.

We have worked with Kewill for more than 10 years, said Dave O’Hara, executive vice president of business development, Microsoft Great Plains. We are excited to strengthen our partnership and offer additional value to existing customers through multi-carrier shipping management functionality.
