Online consumer data security software, Keeper, has been bolstered with two major features to help better protect consumers’ critical data, with Keeper Sharing and expedited logging into websites with Keeper Browser Extensions.
Keeper’s mobile application aims to offer users an easy and most secure way to store and access private passwords and information. Keeper’s features allow users to store unlimited amounts of data and private information in one, easily accessible place.
Darren Guccione, CEO and co-founder of Keeper, explained: "Keeper is committed to making password management and the browser experience as secure, simple and seamless as possible. With Keeper Sharing and Keeper Browser Extensions, we are making greater strides to help consumers protect their critical data and making it easier to login to their favourite websites."
Keeper Sharing allows user to share their passwords with those they trust when they are not able to access their private data. When someone shares a record with another user, they login to their Keeper vault and the shared record appears. Keeper Sharing gives the record owner total control to manage ‘view and edit’ permissions for each record they share with others. Additionally, the record owner can quickly remove a user from all shared records easily.
Keeper Browser Extensions for Chrome, Safari and Firefox browsers enables users to keep track of all of their passwords for their favourite sites. Once installed in the browser, Keeper Browser Extension automatically senses when a site requires login credentials, allowing users to seamlessly enter their Keeper data into the fields and login fast.
For new sites that are not recognisable, Keeper helps users generate a strong password, and then stores new login credentials into their Keeper Data Vault, making it seamless to login into the site after. In addition, Keeper automatically creates a new record which instantly appears on all users devices.
