You wouldn’t have thought that a company like that would still have problems, but Keane Inc has won a Year 2000 compliance contract from the Lexis-Nexis on-line database operator of Reed Elsevier Plc for an undisclosed amount. The company has an estimated 25 million lines of code to be reviewed and certified as compliant before January 1 2000.
