Telehouse International Corp of Europe Ltd, the computer and telecommunications services facility 83% owned by Japan’s Kokusai Denshin Denwa Co is looking to expand its UK operation into the rest of Europe, starting with Paris in July. The firm provides a range of services from dealing room disaster recovery to managing international private circuits. It says it is opening a central Paris facility to meet customer demand. Demand is coming primarily from the Internet service providers that currently use Telehouse’s London Dockland’s facility, and want a presence in France. Telehouse financial director Barney Bannington said the company will almost certainly justify the Europe in its name, by opening facilities in other major European countries in the near future.
