Kaseya, a provider of automated IT systems management software, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Intellipool, a network performance monitoring company.
Intellipool provides enterprise-class network performance monitoring capabilities to the Kaseya product line giving customers enterprise monitoring.
Kaseya said that the acquisition is as per its strategy to move into network performance monitoring by incorporating Intellipool’s lightweight, feature-rich, enterprise-class, network performance monitoring offering.
The integration of Intellipool into Kaseya provides administrators with a new, agentless, network performance monitoring offering, extending monitoring to the application layer, additional platforms; including Unix, and edge devices.
Kaseya CEO Gerald Blackie said the company is capitalising on their leadership position in IT Automation space. The acquisition is a direct result of listening to their customers and developing a product based on those conversations to meet their business requirements.
Kaseya will provide the current Intellipool offering as an integrated, add-on to the Kaseya framework this month.
Further, Kaseya plans to integrate the next generation of Intellipool’s network performance monitoring product within its platform to simplify operations and increase business opportunities for customers by the end of this year.
