It is anticipating revenue in the range $16.3m to $16.7m, a 23% year-on-year increase and 21% up from the preceding quarter. While its revenue has been heading in the right direction for the last year and more, license sales were dragging behind, but the quarter will deliver an dramatic improvement in this area. Kana expects license revenue of $5.6m to $5.8m which would be a 28% increase over the year-ago quarter. It represents 59% sequential growth on the second quarter 2007.

Our financial momentum reflects the market demand for Kana’s solutions and strategic services, and our ability to capitalize on our large and growing pipeline of opportunities, said Kana CEO Michael Fields.

The results are scheduled for release after market close on October 30.
