By CBR Staff Writer

Kalamazoo Computer Group Plc, the Birmingham-based computer services and printed systems group has entered into a conditional agreement to acquire WIS Computer Systems Ltd of Cardiff for up to UKP6m. WIS develops packages using its Oracle based WIS-Answer, that comprises 20 modules for manufacturing, distribution and financial applications similar to SAP AG’s R/3. The acquisition is part of Kalamazoo’s desire to take a lead in the process manufacturing arena and fulfils its avowed intention to expand quickly by acquisition.
