Unix software emulation company JSB Computer Systems Ltd is offering potential customers a taster of its MultiView 2000 (CI No 3,238) software. The Cheshire, UK-based operation will start a promotion today, enabling companies with Unix operations to have two or three of their screen views given a Windows interface. The thinking behind the promotion is to show users what the software is capable of, and then sell them a full copy of MultiView. ‘Transformed’ screens will have three-dimensional graphical attributes and web hot links. Smaller organizations can have their Unix software updated via a modem or TCP/IP link, and applications with large amounts of users will be updated at the customers site. MultiView is priced at 175 pounds for a single user license, and customers can register for their free face lift at www.jsb.com/challenge.
