JPMorgan Chase employs SAP to improve finance platform

Financial services firm JPMorgan Chase has implemented software from German IT supplier SAP as part of its long-term plan to improve its finance platform.

The bank intends to use the mySAP ERP application to consolidate its domestic ledgers onto a single platform in order to simplify its operating model and reduce expenses.

Scott Pankoff, chief technology officer of global finance technology at JPMorgan Chase, commented: The SAP solution will help us better analyze our financial and business performance.

JPMorgan Chase has assets of nearly $1.2 trillion and serves US consumers as well as corporate, institutional and government clients.
