JOHN CUNNINGHAM QUITS AT COMPUTER CONSOLES

By CBR Staff Writer

John Cunningham has decided not to stick around and guide ICL’s fortunes in the US following purchase by STC Plc of his Computer Consoles Inc, Waltham, Massachusetts. He has resigned as chairman and chief executive, although he will make himself available to answer any questions on a consultancy basis. Also off is senior vice-president and finance chief Richard Krieger. Cunningham says he may form an investment company to acquire established computer manufacturers that are going through hard times and need a lift, turn them around and then seek to sell them on.
