JOBS ONLY REGISTERS APPLE SHARES, DOESN’T SELL

By CBR Staff Writer

Turns out, Apple Computer Inc founder Steve Jobs has registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell all but one of his 1.5 million shares in Apple Computer Inc (CI No 3,182) but has not actually sold them: I haven’t sold any shares and my intentions haven’t changed at all he told The New York Times. Shares must be registered at the SEC at some point to have any value, and Jobs’ shares were new, arising from the sale of NeXT Software Inc to Apple.
