To support its investment accounting, reporting and exception management operations

By CBR Staff Writer

Jackson Fund Services, a division of Jackson National Asset Management, has extended its use of SunGard’s Asset Arena Investment Accounting solution by migrating to SunGard’s Asset Arena Enterprise platform.

SunGard said that Asset Arena Enterprise platform is a modular, real-time accounting system for global custodians, mutual fund administrators and hedge fund administrators. It covers a wide range of assets, countries and territories and offers a web front-end for both investment operations and reporting.

SunGard also said that Jackson Fund Services (JFS) has selected its Asset Arena Enterprise platform to support its investment accounting, reporting and exception management operations. Delivery through Enterprise will help JFS reduce manual processes and increase operational efficiency.

Mark Nerud, president of Jackson National Asset Management and JFS, said: JFS’s commitment to using leading edge technology has helped facilitate our growth. With the migration to SunGard’s Asset Arena Enterprise, we are able to provide our clients with customized reporting solutions through a secure internet access portal and enhance our ability to grow our business in an efficient manner.

Doug Morgan, president of institutional asset management business at SunGard, said: “JFS has long been a valued customer of SunGard.  Their decision to continue using Asset Arena for investment accounting further demonstrates SunGard’s ability to deliver scalable, flexible solutions for asset managers and third party administrators.  We are pleased that our relationship with JFS continues to grow.”
