Using the National Office Machine Dealers Association Show as its forum, Menlo Park, California-based JetFax Inc is to announce its new generation JetFax 8000-D laser facsimile product line this week: in addition to its standard features which include dual access, fast scanning and printing, and a 60-page memory – the company has added some networking facilities; an optional network facsimile upgrade enables users to send faxes direct from their personal computer, and an optional dual line upgrade enables the product to send and receive simultaneously from two telephone lines; the company has not said whether the product is to be available internationally, but Fujitsu Ltd has been reseller for the previous products in the UK, and seems set to be taking this one on as well; no price, availability.
