As proof that Java can be used to sell and promote most things, even the services of a venture capital company, two out of the ten companies that have so far received money from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers’ so-called $100m Java fund have yet to include any Java in their products, reports the Wall Street Journal, These include Wallop Software Inc, purveyor of the Build-It web application assembly environment.
