Jaspersoft launches advanced data integration for BI Suite

Extensive library of over 450 components to help manage difficult ETL jobs; options for deploying ETL into apps

By CBR Staff Writer

Business intelligence (BI) software maker Jaspersoft has enhanced its BI Enterprise Suite with upgraded data integration (DI) capabilities.

Jaspersoft ETL delivers affordable, enterprise-level capabilities that cost 80% less than traditional, proprietary vendors and allows the utmost flexibility when deploying on premise, in the cloud or in a hybrid environment, said the company.

ETL Enterprise capabilities include: central repository for collaborative job design and sophisticated error recovery or improved availability; flexible architecture; centralised monitoring and management tools; and event based triggers to automate job execution for real-time data synchronisation.

The flexible architecture lets customers take advantage of an extensive library of 450+ components to help manage difficult ETL jobs, and it also gives customers the option of deploying or embedding ETL into their applications, said the company.

Jaspersoft ETL is designed to support BI Builders — the developers, IT professionals and consultants tasked with creating web-based, customised analytics and reporting solutions embedded within a production application or running as a standalone application.

Jaspersoft CEO Brian Gentile said the ability to quickly access and visualize information from many different sources is paramount for companies.
