Hordes of Japanese companies will be exhibiting at Comdex/Fall in Las Vegas next month, with Toshiba showing its latest, 80386-based T5100 lap-top, as well as the T3100, T3200, and T1000; Epson will be pushing the Equity II+ and the LT laptop which uses a NEC V30 8086-compatible CPU; Mitsubishi will show the mp-286 AT-alike, and the mp-386 workstation, and NEC will show off its 32-bit Powermate 386, and a V30-based Multispeed laptop; also looking to land in your lap is Sanyo, expected to exhibit the IBM-compatible MBC-16LT; perhaps more interesting, Sony will show its best-selling News 68020-based workstation, while Canon and Ricoh will of course show laser printers; Fujitsu, Hitachi, and Sharp are also expected to participate in the show.
