St Albans, Hertfordshire-based Jaguar Communications Plc has unveiled the Digidial PCMCIA Workstation, a Type II ISDN PC Card. The card appears to personal computer-based applications as an Ethernet interface card and the company says it spoofs IPX/SPX, TCP/IP, NetBIOS, OSI Transport, DECNet V, ICL Transport and IBM LLC2. The company said it is the first of its kind to support both analogue and digital communications across ISDN: an RJ45 port provides direct connection to ISDN services, while a second analogue port can be used to attach ordinary telephony equipment to the ISDN via the card. It is available now, costing รบ1,000.
