iXOS Software Inc, the new US wing of the German company with the same name, has picked Loreli Trippel as its president. She was previously director of software engineering at SuperMac Technology Inc, the graphics accelerator house. Before that, she was with Ashton-Tate Corp for five years working on the presentation graphics side, which coincides with iXOS’ imaging interests. Meanwhile, the company has also announced the availability of its iXView/SQL graphical user interface tool, which supports Ingres 6.4 as does its iXos-FrameMerger database productivity tool. Ingres Corp is to co-market iXView/SQL.
