ITT WITHDRAWS OFFER FOR AMERICAN NETWORK

Seems Pacific northwest phone company American Network Inc isn’t worth even 80 cents a share: ITT Corp has withdrawn its offer at that price, $18.5m all told, but has continued talks with a view to making a substantially lower offer.
