IT’S ALL THE CRICKETERS’ FAULT – AIDED BY SIR CLIVE!

If yesterday’s issue seemed more than usually garbled, blame Uncle Sir Clive and the England and Pakistani cricketers: with the BBC’s Honeywell Bull computer whirring like a dervish as England tried to score 124 runs in 18 overs to win the fourth test and the tiny speaker in the editor’s Sinclair pocket TV scarcely able to contain the excitement of the Edgbaston crowd, it became difficult at presstime to concentrate on the task in hand.
