French IT services company Soleri SA has completed the acquisition of Paris-based computer-aided design (CAD) and Unix software house NX Technologie, for $0.89m.
Lyon-based Soleri said it expects to add some $3.3m to its revenues this year thanks to the NX acquisition. Total revenues last year were FFr627m ($103.3m), a 47% increase on 1997, with the net profit rising 136% to FFr26m ($4.29m). SoleriÆs core expertise lies in financial networks (CI No 3,606), designing bespoke systems with object oriented technology.
The group has already gone beyond the French borders, into neighboring Spain, in this market niche, counting the Barcelona-based Caixa de Catalunya among its major customers there.
Soleri carried out an $8m flotation on the Paris stock exchange in November last year in order to finance further expansions in the UK, Italy and Germany.
