According to Cisco, investments in the IT park including federal budget allocations amount to RUB2.9 billion. Plans are for the park to house about 80 companies by 2012, which are expected to create about 10,000 new jobs in IT and other businesses. In addition to the office facilities, it also includes a convention centre, a press centre, training and demonstration facilities, and two hotels. It also established a centre for certification and licensing.

The park’s information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, based on Cisco solutions, includes a local area network (LAN) and wireless coverage with more than 60 access points. Cisco unified communications has been implemented with more than a thousand Cisco unified IP phones, two clusters of Cisco unified communications manager and a unified contact centre, the company said.
