IIS Intelligent Information Systems Ltd of Haifa, Israel is to acquire Adanet Communications Ltd, and has an option to buy MDS Adacom France, from the Adacom Group Inc for $2.3m. Adanet Communications is an Israeli firm specialising in marketing of networking products and network integration services, and represents SynOptics Communications Corp, 3Com Corp, Digital Communications Associates Inc and CrossCom Corp, and did $7m sales last year. MDS Adacom sells and services peripheral and communications products for IBM mainframe and mid-range users. Adacom and Intelligent have also agreed to sell each other’s products and to form a Europe-wide network integration and service group.
