The company that owns the search engine is also plotting a series of co-branding and marketing partnerships in a bid to generate significantly more traffic to the site. Founded in 1995 as a non-commercial venture, the Internet Sleuth was acquired in 1998 by a company called iSleuth.com, whose business plan calls for building it into a fully-fledged portal. With the current intense competition and low-to-negative profit margins prevailing in the portal space, those entrepreneurs have set themselves a task of daunting proportions. á
