Island Graphics Corp, headquartered in San Rafael, California says that it has now added multimedia features to IslandPresents, the graphics package that it introduced back at the Uniforum show, and that it has started delivering it for Sparc-based systems fitted with Open Look and Open Windows 3.0. Versions for Solaris 2.0, Sparcs running the Open Software Foundation’s Motif user interface and Hewlett-Packard Co’s HP 9000s are expected this autumn. The software can now display full-screen presentations and drive large screen displays. On-screen presentations can include transitions such as fades and wipes, the company says, and adds that they can also be annotated with music or voice segments recorded with SunSoft Inc’s Audio Tool; a single user licence will go for $1,000.
