The co-operative group objective is to create a successful drug information portal on the Internet. The site, www.drugfacts.com, is aimed at pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other drug information professionals yet also to general consumers.
Facts and Comparisons has long been considered by pharmacists and medical professionals as the expert source for unbiased, essential, and appropriate drug information. We knew it was a logical extension of our business to bring our vast collection of information to the Web, but we wanted to do more than simply move our print publications online, said Steve Hebel RPh, president and CEO of Facts and Comparisons in a statement to the press.
