Boardman, who also chairs the ISACA’s credentialing and career management board, spent the early part of his career working in consultancy and information systems audit roles with companies including Goldman Sachs, KPMG and PWC, before becoming information risk manager at Morgan Stanley.
"I am delighted to be reelected and to continue to serve on ISACA’s Board of Directors," he said.
"I am looking forward to another exciting and busy year for ISACA, as it strives to become the foremost global organization on the topic of trust in and value from information and information systems."
ISAC also elected Tony Hayes, who joined ISACA in 2003, to the role of international president, as well as appointing Christos Dimitriadis and Krysten McCabe to the board.
International president Tony Hayes said: "I am proud to be a part of this group as we further ISACA’s mission to help our constituents ensure trust in and value from information and technology through effective governance and management."
ISACA, which was founded in 1969 and serves 110,000 global IT professionals, develops international standards and frameworks to help enterprises maximize the value of their information and systems.
