A lady called Resurreccion Florendo has been unobtrusively – or as unobtrusively as is possible when your name is Resurreccion Florendo – running a restaurant, catering service and two fast food outlets in Baltimore under the name Sony’s for some years now when along come those awfully nice Sony people and haul her off into Federal Court in Baltimore on charges of trade mark infringement, unfair competition and deliberate confusion of customers, and demand $300,000 damages.
