IPL MEMORY FOR SYSTEM 38

By CBR Staff Writer

IPL Systems Inc, Waltham, Massachusetts manufacturer of 9370-compatible machines which funds their development by selling add-in memory, has come up with a 4Mb memory board for the new line-topping IBM System 38 Model 700 – like IBM using 1M-bit memory chips. IPL offers System 38 memory at 50% of IBM’s list for all current models, with life-time replacement warranty and no need or charge for maintenance; the Model 700 takes upgrades in 8Mb steps so IPL offers a saving of $20,000 plus $1,440 on annual maintenance. Ships start immediately.
