IPL Systems Inc, Waltham, Massachusetts, has said that it has now plans to produce a line of 9370-compatible machines, but it’s still winning business for the 4341- and low-end 4381-class 4460 multiprocessor IBMulator. The company has received an order from AT&T Data Systems worth $1.57m for IPL 4460s under a three-year agreement signed in 1984. The machines are central controllers in an image processing system developed by AT&T under a joint US Army-Air Force contract.
