IP MULTICAST INITIATIVE GETS 14 NEW MEMBERS

The IP Multicast Initiative has gained 14 new members, due it says to the increase in new IP multicasting products available. The Initiative is managed by Campbell, California-based Stardust Technologies Inc, and was established in October 1996. The new members are the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Adaptec, Bay Networks, NASA, Sprint, DigitalXpress, EMULive, Extreme Networks, PSINet, WavePhore, Telesat, PictureTel, Ganymede Software and Qwest Communications.
