IO DATA DEVICE HAS SOFTWARE TO TRANSMIT FROM PC TO FACSIMILE

By CBR Staff Writer

IO Data Device has come out with software for personal computers that enables direct transmission of documents from screen to facsimile machine, with much higher resolution than achieved with a scanner: the program runs on the Japanese market leader, the NEC 9801 series, and sends data to NEC’s Nefax fax machine – but at $1,220 it ain’t cheap.
