INVERTRON SIMULATION – BASIS OF THIRD ARM TO USH’s BUSINESS

By CBR Staff Writer

Commenting on its acquisition of Invertron Simulation Ltd for UKP4.3m – to be met by placing of 1.5m new shares (CI No 715), United Scientific Holdings Plc says it wants the builder of military simulators to form the basis of a third arm to its business – and one that it wants to build to UKP100m a year: that will clearly require further acquisitions, since Invertron did UKP365,000 pre-tax on sales of just UKP3.3m in 1986; it has an order book of UKP15m and net assets total UKP1.4m.
