Intuit buys itDuzzit for faster data sync between cloud apps

The Chicago-based startup offers tools for businesses to integrate a range of web and mobile apps with each other.

Financial management software maker, Intuit, has completed the acquisition of cloud-centric integration platform itDuzzit, which will help small business apps to connect to the QuickBooks Online ecosystem.

Intuit said in a statement: "Beyond purchasing the technology, we are really happy to welcome itDuzzit’s two founders- Joe Dennis and Steve Mendoza to Intuit.

"Joe and Steve created the core technology that makes it simple and fast to sync data between cloud applications – connecting apps in minutes."

The startup offers tools for businesses to integrate a range of web and mobile apps with each other, and speed up the data synching rate between cloud apps.

Furthermore, itDuzzit’s technology enables multiple audiences to develop better integration with only a few coding required.

Integrating itDuzzit’s technology with the range of QuickBooks platform services already offered by Intuit will significantly increase thebreadth and depth of integrations carried out by its partners.

Recently, Intuit snapped up UK-based cloud payroll service provider, PaySuite, to beef up its QuickBooks Online ecosystem.

Intuit claims QuickBooks has 1.7 million users globally and the company is mainly focusing on core financial services such as payroll, payments and inventory.
