The company said it will focus on its SecureNet line of network-based IDS appliances, though it will continue to sell its SecureHost host-based IDS, as well as its firewalls and VPNs, which are based on software from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.

In its last reported quarter, ended September 30, Intrusion reported its sales increased to $2.4m and its net loss shrank to $3.6m. The September 30 balance sheet shows working capital of $14.4m and no debt, but cash burn of $2.4m in the third quarter.
