INTERWORKING LABS ANNOUNCES TEST SUITE FOR SNMP IMPLEMENTATIONS

Mountain View, California-based InterWorking Laboratories has announced the commercial availability of an SNMP Test Suite, which will be used as the basis for the SNMP Test Summit II at the end of June. The suite is said to include compliance tests for Simple Network Management Protocol version 2 and RMON management agents, and is available in two versions with diff erent tiers of technical support: users registering for the summit can pay $4,000 for a copy of the test suite on quarter inch tape, and can also buy it separately for $4,500. Both include 90 days of technical support, after which users can opt for electronic mail-based assistance for $200 a year, or full telephone, electronic mail and other support by paying $1,500 a year.
