Unicast Communications Corp will expand its relationship with InterVu Inc to deliver video ad formats over the World Wide Web. Three senior InterVu executives – John de Tar, Allie Shaw and Joe Savarino – are to join a new Unicast office opening in San Francisco in November. Unicast will sell jointly branded video advertising services, including interstitials, to advertisers and agencies. InterVu, a media streaming network, yesterday announced a partnership with AdKnowledge to help campaign managers track their rich media web ad campaigns. Manhattan-based Unicast is backed by Intel and GTE Internetworking.
