INTERNET COULD COST UK TAX MAN DEAR

The internet could be responsible for the UK Inland Revenue falling foul to losses of millions of pounds of tax payments. Apparently purchasing software, or other products across the web from countries where taxation is low or non existent eliminates VAT sales tax charges. The problem has been highlighted by John Andrews, president of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
