Meanwhile InterCon Systems Corp, Performance Systems International Inc, Digital Express Group, Netcom On-Line Communications Services, Portal Information Network Inc, and Frontier Technologies Corp have formed the Internet Business Association to represent small-to mid-sized suppliers of Internet products and services to the US government. To be headquartered in Washington DC, the group plans to provide bulletins, brochures and seminars outlining the regulatory and privacy issues surrounding communications over the Internet. The information will also be made available from a World Wide Web server. Charter memberships are currently being accepted, and a meeting is scheduled for this week.
