INTERNET A LONG WAY FROM BUSINESS TOOL IN CHINA

Only 11% of internet users in China are categorized as commercial enterprises, according to statistics from the China Computer Association. The association reported that businesses complain that there is not enough Chinese business content online to warrant the expense of hooking up their offices to the internet. The association also found that publishing information online in China is prohibitively expensive, with 95% of businesses using the net only to receive information.
